With all of these new and sometimes newbish water warriors entering soakerdom, I must warn them and you. Modifications... sounds catchy eh? New water warriors get drawn in by things like "making your soaker better" or "getting more range" or my favorite "as powerful as a CPS 2000".
The sad truth is you will probably break 3/4 of your soakers trying to modify them, I did! Every time you modify your soaker you risk someone getting hurt. The reasons soakers aren't as powerful as the CPS 2000 is for people don't get hurt. Not only that each time you open your soaker you risk something snapping or you loosing screws.
I use to have over 11 super soakers, and now I only have 4 because I tried modifying my soakers. That is a lot of money down the drain. Not all of us have a big bank account to back up our projects you know.
Rumors have it that when the CPS 2000 was around that there were many "accidents" because the soaker was way too powerful. Making a soaker that powerful can get someone seriously hurt. Or just performing the mod is dangerous especially if you're a kid.
I know there are a lot of kids that are really good at modifications, and I usually don't like stopping people from doing things they are good at or enjoy but in this case I must warn you guys...
