Beginners Guide
By Freakymist
Starting a battle

There is many ways to start a good battle, try asking neighbors if they want to have a water battle, put up flyers do what ever it takes to get enemies to fight. Don't only build your forces but get enemies too or your team will be worthless. Do the same thing: try-asking neighbors, put up flyers, do what ever it takes to get your forces ready. I asked all of my friends at school. Say some thing interesting like, "Hey me and some of our friend are going to have a huge water fight, there will be lots of friends and food, and you can't miss out on this one."

Some Basic Rules

* Only use clear, clean water in your soakers. Other liquids can damage your soaker or hurt someone else.
* Choose a game type, time limit, and designate filling stations before the battle.
* Do not shoot anyone who is not involved in the water war.
* Water Wars are not contact games. Soak your opponent don't hurt them.
* No stealing other players weapons. Weapons should remain with their owners.
* Never go on missions alone. Use the "Buddy System".
* Try using hand signals.
* When using radios use code names. That way opponents don't know who you are.
* Always do your homework.
* Know your terrain. Get a map.
* Never run from an opponent just because he/she has a bigger gun. You are most likely to get soaked.
* Never go on unordered missions.
* Be organized. An unorganized group will be uncoordinated.
* Never wear bright colors. They give away your position.
* Try to keep in touch with your teammates. Use walkie talkies or similar devices.

Be Prepared

Always be prepared in a water war. Go onto Yahoo Maps and get a decent map of the area. Know enemy weakness and guns. Also know your enemies strong points. Carry a pocket knife, some band-aids, a rope, refill bottles, water balloons, and some food.

Working as a Team

To be a great army you must work together. Everybody in your army must know each other pretty well and get along. Never send 2 men that hate each other on 1 mission.

Stuff To Remember

* Study your enemy's tactics after each battle. Immediately after each battle write down in your own words what happened. So later you can learn from your mistakes and predict the enemy.
* You can buy camo at the local army surplus store in your area.
* Spy on your enemy for a while. Have an "inside man" go on the other team.
